Our Multi National Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Stakeholder Manager to join their team in Riyadh, KSA to work on Commercial, Hospitality, Retail & Leisure & Entertainment projects in the Kingdom. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Stakeholder Manager on Commercial, Hospitality, Retail & Leisure & Entertainment projects in KSA and the wider GCC and a proven background working in a recognised PMC or Design Consultancy business.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertakes a full day to day stakeholder role on more large and complex projects or on a range of smaller but more challenging projects or running a significant component of a major project.
- Oversee the liaison and create / maintain links of communication within key parties involved on the project.
- Developing and fostering community relationships and supporting Senior Management as the public face of the client on Projects.
- Managing the interface between client personnel and all external stakeholders in an organized and systematic manner. Key Stakeholders include : Technical Committees, Government Departments, Municipality, Authorities and Agencies, Contractors, Plot Developers, Media, and Community Representatives.
- Managing stakeholder outreach initiatives, dialogue, and other forms of engagement to understand key concerns and interests.
- Proactively building strategic alliances and coalitions with key constituency groups whose work and missions are aligned with the Project priorities to aid the delivery of key project milestones.
- Supporting the overall permitting process to mitigate project delays Providing liaison and coordination services with all government bodies and other service providers with respect to the planning and approvals for construction of the Project.
- Monitoring compliance by the Design Consultants (either internal or external) with the requirements of any governmental approvals and regulations and advise on appropriate measures to expedite clearances and approvals.
- Managing Authority relationships and requirements to avoid project delays.
Stakeholder Manager Experience:
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture or similar
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar capacity
- Strong partnership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective strategies to generate results.
- Track record in developing multi-channel IC strategies and the ability to execute at scale
- Adept in new age IC tech-mediums (MS Teams, Workplace or similar) and highly skilled in visual communications
- Commercially-savvy and experienced in working in complex projects and fast-paced organizations.
- Change communication and engagement experience.
- Excellent analytical skills and research capabilities
- Real Estate / Construction sectors
- Proven skills in negotiation, innovation, presentation and problem resolution.
- Skilled in crisis management and able to provide a rapid response when needed
- Exemplary writing skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt messaging according to audience.
