Structural BIM Modeler - 3-6 Month Contract

Our International Engineering Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well seasoned Structural BIM Modelers to join their team in Abu Dhabi. Successful candidates will have strong Structural BIM Modelling experience and major project exposure in mixed use developments will be preferred.

This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 3-6 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist BIM coordinator(s) in 3D Revit modelling and Maintenance of federated models.  
• To assist BIM coordinator(s) in the modelling and creation of REVIT families. 
• To adhere to CDE standard of work and model to BIM level 2 where possible on all Revit families. 
• Make changes within the BIM once issues are identified through clash detection. 
• To assist BIM coordinator(s) in creation of 2D drawings and information output direct from the BIM. 
• Attend coordination meetings and demonstrate an understanding of the project at hand.
• Complete design coordination with design teams including review, comments & RFI.
• Coordinate with other disciplines like Interiors, landscape, architects, MEP division, etc. to ensure the modeling proceed in complete coordination with all the partners of the project.
• Contractor Shop Drawing Preparing for All Concrete Member like Wall, Column, Beam, Foundation, Bridges, Staircase, Retaining Wall, Concrete Slabs, Core/Shear Walls, Helipad, Pile Foundation, Airport Structures and Utilities Structures
• Rebar Detailing And Estimation
• Building Estimation And Concrete Quantity Survey
• Concrete Foam Work for All Concrete Member Preparing All Views like Plan, Section, Elevation Skill Sets Required BIM/Drafting Skill

Structural BIM Modeler Experience:

• Relevant degree/qualification demonstrating BIM capability in Architecture or Engineering
• Demonstrable experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Demonstrable experience with BIM capable softwares (Navisworks, BIM360, BIM collab).
• Have an understanding of the construction industry (large scale projects preferred).
• Be able to work well within a team
• Strong track record of delivery in Structural BIM Modeling
