TAFM Mobilisation & Transition Manager - 6 Month Contract

Our Regional Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced, TAFM project mobilisation & transition manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a transition / mobilisation project manager for an Asset Manager, FM Service Provider or Consultancy company on large scale TAFM projects and contracts and high profile projects in the UAE / GCC.


This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 6 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing high-quality transition/mobilisation programmes in the initial phases of the mobilisation/transition programme (prior to hand over to the deliver manager/business unit mobilisation manager) on time and within budget.
  • Designing, planning and executing high quality transitions/mobilisations on complex building facilities. The opportunities will range in size and complexity.
  • Working with the bid team to create, implement and manage a transition project plan and strategy.
  • Preparing and delivering essential bid documentation relevant to the transition and mobilisation components including; mobilisation approach, dependencies, risk / issues / opportunities register, action log, team information
  • Ensuring appropriate governance is followed, and all relevant approvals are obtained
  • Planning projects in a structured manner and ensure the end to end project lifecycle is fully managed
  • Ensuring projects follow best industry practice and compliance with business processes.
  • Working closely with stakeholders agree with the business requirements and scope for the project, developing effective working relationships and ongoing management processes for the project
  • Liaising with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Identifying and managing project dependencies and critical path.
  • Monitoring and tracking project milestones and deliverables
  • Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations within the agreed format and timeframe
  • Tracking project milestones and deliverables.
  • Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
  • Defining project success criteria and communicating them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
  • Documenting preparation for meetings and assist with collation of management reports where necessary.
  • Developing a budget relevant to the transition components of the project.
  • Managing and delivering the mobilisation project to budget.
  • Supporting the monitoring and improvement of the quality of bid submissions ensuring high standards of attention to detail


TAFM Project Mobilisation & Transition Manager Experience:

  • Engineering degree or diploma or other related technical diploma.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in Facilities project mobilisation activities.
  • Preferably with experience working on High Profile projects in .the UAE
  • Working knowledge of TAFM inc. hard and soft services.
  • Understanding of project management, milestones and successful delivery.
  • Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
