Technical Engineer / Coordinator (DM G+4 License)

Our well regarded regional Interior Fit Out Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced Technical Engineer / Coordinator to join their team in Dubai to work on Commercial, Hospitality and Residential fit out projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Civil or Structural Technical Engineer on projects in the UAE. Only candidates with Dubai Municipality license for G+4 and G+1 Steel Structures will be considered.

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity with our client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing all technical submittal(shop drawings, material submittal, method statements )
• Coordinating with operation team for preparation of site progress and daily reports
• Liaison with authorities and portal application
• Coordinating with procurement officer to issue LPOs
• Monitoring the site progress base on the baseline programme
• Can do structural design and structural calculation

Technical Engineer Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of 5-10 years post grad experience - at least 3 years relevant UAE experience
• Must hold Dubai Municipality license for G+4 Building and G+1 Steel Structures
• Proven ability to lead fit out projects to deliver on time and to budget
• Structural Design software knowledge is required
• UAE Driving license is essential
