Technical Office Manager - Infrastructure

Our multi-national Architect and Engineering consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Technical Office Manager to join their team in Doha, Qatar. Successful candidates will have extensive Technical Office management experience on large scale infrastructure and roads projects in the GCC.
This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Managing roads and utilities technical team consisting of Engineers and draftsman for preparation/submission of shop drawings, as-builts, material and method statements to the Engineer/Employer/Authorities/Stakeholders.
- Managing roads and utilities subcontractor technical teams.
- Driving all technical documents close out Engineer/Employer/Authorities/Stakeholders
- Supporting construction team and responding construction problems, providing technical solutions.
- Supporting NOC Team in all technical aspects.
- Managing authority/stakeholder requirements within the project requirements
Technical Office Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Architecture / Engineering / Construction Management or an equivalent degree
- 20 + years experience in site supervision technical office for infrastructure and roads projects with a minimum of 10 years in the GCC
- Experience managing both roads and utilities as Technical Office Manager in the Consultancy organization.
- Previous experience working and or interfacing with authorities such as ASHGHAL, KAHRAMAA. Therefore, experience in understanding of authority requirements.
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
