Theming Architect / Interior Designer - Consultancy

Our Multi National Design Consultancy client has a new requirement for well experienced theming and theme park Architects and Interior Designers with strong experience of theming and theme park projects to join their team in Abu Dhabi UAE to work on a high profile theme park projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have extensive experience as a theming designer for Architecture or Interior Designer ideally with a recognised consultancy company background working on high profile theme park developments.


This role is available for immediate joining (max 30 days) and is a direct hire, permanent opportunity employed directly by our client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must be highly experienced with high profile theme park and theming projects, passionate, and a creative problem-solver.
  • Handle multiple projects at one time with extremely efficient time management
  • Ensure all deadlines are met, following up with and managing the production team as necessary
  • Be punctual for all internal and external meetings, understand everything that will be required for meetings and be well prepared without requiring prompting and guidance from upper management
  • Ensure emails are responded to and actioned in appropriate time frames
  • Take responsibility for quality of work produced.
  • Presentations: Look & Feel - Produce creative 'Look & feel' presentations that are relevant and bespoke to each client, emphasizing our understanding of them and their vision Concept and Schematic (DD & TD as needed)
  • Always displaying unique, creative solutions with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Produce quality designs quickly and efficiently with few internal revisions prior to presentations
  • Ensure all necessary documentation is recorded appropriately when required (i.e. Drawing registries, client approval documents)
  • Coordinate and action technical aspects of a design that have an effect on the aesthetic or need incorporating into ID Packages. HVAC, IT and AV
  • Deliverables: Produce efficient well thought out layout plans ensuring all industry standards are met and the functionality of the space is tailored to the client's requirements
  • Oversee the production of accurate and highly detailed drawing packages with all information necessary to price and build from, as per industry and client standards


Theming Architect / ID Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design or related
  • Experience wise must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, previous UAE experience would be advantageous however is not essential and MUST have worked on recognised Theme Park and theming projects.
  • Proficiency in REVIT is essential
  • Experience of delivery of high profile theme park and theming projects is essential
  • Strong communication skills are essential
