Workshop Production Controller - Interiors, Events & Exhibitions

Our regional fit out, events and exhibitions production and contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced workshop production controller to join their team in Dubai, UAE. Successful candidates will have extensive joinery workshop production control experience on all size and fast-track fit out, event and exhibition projects in the GCC

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for making a project schedule as per the agreed terms with client
• Organize & assign the production team to a specific project
• Manage day to day operational aspects of a project
• Manage the production team to achieve the project objectives
• Coordinate with contractors sub- contractors for the flawless execution of the project
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget
• Ensure the highest quality and standards are met
• Order the required the materials to factory and site
• Ensure the materials usage without wastage
• Coordinate with site engineers before starting the production
• Check the drawing and verify the site dimension before prepare the cutting list
• Plan the productivity
• Will handle budgeting estimations, for events, exhibitions and interior works
• Ensure the all machineries are working properly
• Keep in store and distribute the tools and required materials to factory and site properly
• Ensure the required ironmongeries are available in the market
• Manage and distribute the manpower to factory and site
• Arrange the vehicle to deliver the materials to site
• Ensure the site condition before deliver the materials to site
• Make sure the work finished as per the completion date
• Hand over the work without any delay

Workshop Production Controller Requirements:

• Hindi speaking and experienced in managing a team of 30+ production staff (carpenters, joiners, painters)
• Duties include production planning, scheduling, quality assurance and HSE management of the workshop
• Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule and etc
• Managing all work and providing timeline for production while supervising and motivating a team of workers
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
• Overseeing the whole production of all products within the factory.
• Managing and scheduling in-house productions.
• Discussion with supervisor and foreman regarding the production schedule and technicality of the production.
• Responsible for the performance and quality output in the factory.
• Facilitating process and quality improvements across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure the finished product is as per the dimension mentioned in the approved drawings.
• Identify the new process methodology, Machinery and tools to improve productivity.
• Skilled in finding fast solutions Responsible for taking a design order process through to completion.
• Wide experience in joinery, carpentry, furniture and interior decoration in addition to exhibitions and events.
